She was staring again...
A little seed of irritation grew slowly and a hundred years of patience with humans was suddenly thrown out the window. He turned and glared at her, "What?" Her large green eyes went wide and her mouth opened as though she was about to say something but she shut it instead. Perhaps that was for the better, he was obviously not in the mood.
Muttering under his breath he picked up a large pirate captain hat and placed it on his head tipping the front down to cover most of his face. He did not bother to take his hair back letting it mess around his face covering the sides. This was going to be an excruciating meeting.
"Its... good." Tensai finally admitted after having stared at him most of the day.
He kept his head tilted downwards walking behind Tensai who seemed to be quiet as well gaining the attention of several citizens. Usually the girl was a bounding ball of energy with little blimp gadgets following after her.
Thankfully his post was the front of the assembly and Fuzzball was conducting so there was no
need to turn around. Sighing he leaned forward on the bench resting hands on his elbows bowing his head as everyone began to cheer once the meeting commenced. He had nothing to say today thankfully so he was spared having to get up in front of the congregation. Fuzzball's once in a lifetime new hairstyle thankfully gained attention. At one point he looked up and saw Fuzz's citrine eyes stare at him, the wolf paused for a moment while speaking, blinked but kept on speaking.
The sheriff was very aware of odd changes he had to undergo. Being a werewolf himself nothing odd phased the sheriff and to that he was thankful. Tipping his hat to everyone walking out of the meeting spared him from any explanations he had to come up with because truly he had none. The moon was not at full, the moon was not broken and he was thankfully not human. But when Fuzzball came right up next to him and simply stood there silently he knew he would have to explain himself, "The answer is I do not know."
Fuzzball folded his arms and nodded, "Okay."
Her staring was going to be the end of him, that was for certain. Looking up over his book he watched a set of emerald eyes just staring widely at him. "It is rude to stare." She seemed to understand his discomfort and walked out of his study. Finally thinking he had any semblance of peace today he began to read his book.
..zzt... "reprogram" ...zzz...
Closing his eyes and sighing in long suffering he set the book aside and looked up to see Tensai with a dangerous screwdriver in her mouth fussing over Messenger, her mechanical twin. "Did you reset her?"
"Well she doesn't acknowledge you." Tensai muttered all the while holding a screwdriver in her mouth.
'Ahh that was probably why she didn't bring me the late edition of the Sentinel.' Lunar folded his arms and watched as Tensai closed the mechanical doll's back and stuck a key in giving it a few turns. The android stood straight up and turned, her eyes glowing like flashbulbs as she studied his face making odd 'whirring' sounds taking his face into memory. "You do realize if this changes you'll have to reprogram her."
"No problem." Tensai gave him two thumbs up and a screwdriver still in her mouth. How she could even talk while holding that between her teeth was a miracle unto itself and an enigma he did not want to unravel at this moment.
"I'm sure tomorrow things will go back to normal, ne?" He smiled but frowned when Tensai's eyes widened again and she stared at him. 'Let's hope things return to normal... really.'
